        There are so many workout routines to choose from, so how do you decide what best suits your needs? Depending on the amount of time you have, your stamina, and your level of commitment, a workout consists of: moving your body, getting your heart rate up, burning calories, and feeling good about yourself when you are done.  In order to make exercise a priority in your life, you might have to adjust the other things you do in your life.  The sacrifice however, will be worth it when you see all you are gaining from it.  A more restful sleep, more energy, and less mood swings are just a few examples.  Regardless of the length or intensity of your workout, exercise is the key to a healthy mind and body.
       
       To all you mom’s out there, does it feel like you don't have enough time in the day to squeeze in a workout? You have to make the time for yourself and by doing that, you are not only benefiting yourself, you are showing your kids you are important too! Workouts obviously need to be flexible when you have other responsibilities (i.e. kids), so you need something that can be done with kids around.

       Some of my personal favorite workout routines are free weights, resistance bands, yoga, and the recumbent bike.
